The defending national champions picked up from where they left off. In his first game as coach of the Twilight Sparkle Unicorns, Shining Armor came up a with straight-to-the-point game plan: establish the passing game. The end result: a 156-34 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers at Armor-Cadence Field at Twilight Stadium.

"A very good outing by our team," Armor said to the press. "Being the head of the Royal Guard and a college football coach takes a lot of miles off you, but I'm used to heavy workloads and new opportunities.

"We got a lot of of [Unicorns QB] Tony [Hickman] today, but he had some difficulty throwing the ball. He threw four interceptions, and he needs to be smarter throwing the ball to our receivers because we have the toughest schedule in all of college football and the margin for error is pretty low.

"On the flip side, Tony's a pretty darn good scrambler and he can really damage run defenses with his mobility. He's our captain on offense for a reason, so the fans can expect big things from Tony this year."

The Unicorns improve to 1-0 and host Oregon on Sept. 6.
