Shining Armor reconsiders donating to Twilie, Cadence doubles support

Shining Armor and Princess Cadence of Canterlot are two of the biggest donors to Twilight Sparkle University. This royal couple, who are the brother and sister-in-law of the university's founder respectively, donate 20,000 bits ($10,000 USD) per year to the athletic program at Twilie.

However, during a recent visit on campus, Twilight Sparkle showed Cadence some rather incriminating photographs of Shining Armor as a foal.

"I am considering cutting off support to the university for showing my wife something that could be used for potential blackmail," Shining Armor said back at a press conference in Canterlot. "That was so not cool."

However, impressed by her husband's adorableness, Princess Cadence has elected to double the support to 40,000 bits per year ($20,000 USD).

"We think the athletics program needs to be recognized as something relevant to the school," said Her Highness at the press conference, much to Shining Armor's dismay.

"So we will double the support and hope we get a strong return on investment with a crystal football at the end of the year."

The six universities that form the Western Athletic Conference will have their schedules finalized by mid-July.
