WAC 2012 schedule released!

Twilight Sparkle University was picked by coaches and media to finish third in the reformed Western Athletic Conference. To counter that possibility, the Unicorns have elected to schedule up and will host seven top 25 teams: #16 Wisconsin, #1 Alabama, #2 USC, #3 LSU, #7 Arkansas, #8 Florida State and #21 Boise State.

The news brought some much-needed jealousy from the rest of the Western Athletic Conference.

"Unbelievable," said Rarity, the founder of the Rarity College of the Arts. "Why is it that we choose to go easy, yet Twilight here decides to jeopardize her chances at a bowl by scheduling essentially body bag games? It's absurd!"

"Well, sugarcube here decided that she wanted her players to face a challenge, and I don't blame 'er," said Applejack, the founder of Applejack State University. "I got no pressure on my boys to deliver, but I want them to give it their all this season."

"It takes a lot of guts to schedule up like that," said Vinyl Scratch, the head coach of the Rainbow Dash Rainbows. "If she wins all of her games, we might be in for some trouble."

"Ponyville is going to be packed," said Berry Punch, the head coach of the Fluttershy Spirit. "Most of the fans will come down to Twilie to see the best teams in college football. There won't be a single seat in the house."

"It"s going to be a party this season!" Pinkamena Pie, the founder of Pinkie Pie University, exclaimed. "Football and parties. I love it!"
