Week 12 of Western Athletic Conference play concluded, and there have been nothing but beat-em-ups and run-em-ups left and right. Two league matches and one nonconference match was all she wrote. Here is the roundup of contests.

Rainbow Dash 86, Fluttershy 66

The Blue Helmet goes to the Rainbows, who rode on the arm and legs of quarterback Nicolas Dorian. Dorian passed for 166 yards and two scores while rushing for 229 yards and two more touchdowns. Spirit quarterback Cole Porter passed for 523 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 113 yards and a score. Rainbow Dash hosts Northern Arizona next week, while Fluttershy host Rarity in the Battle for the Monarch.

Applejack State 76, Pinkie Pie 66

The Appleknockers won an exciting shootout at the Acres. Quarterback Sam Houston passed for 601 yards and seven touchdowns to lead Applejack State. Tailback Todd Parker rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Major Trouble. Applejack State host Cal Poly next week, while Pinkie Pie face a crunch-time clash at the House Party Stadium against Twilight Sparkle.

Rarity 223, Eastern Washington 20

Never a close match. The Eagles were thoroughly smacked on both sides of the ball by the Royals, who improve to 9-1 (2-1 WAC). Tailback Bryan McPherson rushed for 891 yards and 16 touchdowns. Rarity travel to Fluttershy Stadium next week to face the Spirit.
