Week 3 of the 2012 college football season concluded, and all six teams are still unbeated in the Western Athletic Conference. It's another run-em-up Saturday for the WAC sides, with high scores against overmatched opposition.

Twilight Sparkle scored yet another major upset in their bid for national glory. Let's take a look at a recap of the week's action in the WAC.

Twilight Sparkle 160, USC 49

The Unicorns, ranked #23 in the land, are most likely to move up once again after hammering the #1 ranked Trojans. The Unicorns ran for 868 yards and were led by QB Tony Hickman, who passed for 215 yards, rushed for 391 more and scored nine touchdowns total.

Twilight Sparkle continue their season next week against LSU.

Rainbow Dash 216, Akron 21

The Rainbows opened the season with an easy win over the Zips, amassing 1609 yards of total offense. Quarterback John Paul Jones passed for 671 yards and 11 touchdowns. Dashie host UTEP next week.

The Spirit dismissed a hopelessly overmatched Ohio side at Fluttershy Stadium, recording 1686 yards of total offense. Quarterback Carl Porter passed for 650 yards and ran for 256 more while scoring 15 touchdowns.

The Spirit get the week off next week but will return to action on Sept. 22 when they travel to Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto to take on the Cardinal.

Pinkie Pie 227, UC Davis 21

This was a body bag game for UC Davis, who were chased out of the stadium by the Major Trouble, who were as advertised: a heap of major trouble, gaining 1666 yards of total offense.

Tailback Kerry East ran for 533 yards and 11 touchdowns in the victory. Pinkie Pie continue their season next week when they host Memphis.

Rarity 212, Bowling Green 35

The Royals overpowered the Falcons at The Battlefield, a.k.a. Diamond Stadium on the campus of the Rarity College of the Arts. Rarity take their show on the road when they travel to Lincoln, Neb. to take on Nebraska.
